How do I download and install the pack?
Download the version you want, free or premium/paid, from our site. Put the
.zip into your Minecraft resourcepacks folder,
then enable it in-game. See the
Full Installation Guide.
Which Minecraft versions are supported?
Legendary RT Java Textures supports all Minecraft versions starting from 1.13.x up to the latest available release.
Are all blocks and items textured?
Not yet. New textures are added regularly. Follow updates in our Discord Server.
Do I need OptiFine or Iris?
Yes. For PBR, parallax, and other advanced features, OptiFine or Iris + Sodium is required.
Can I upgrade from the free 128x resolution?
Yes. Premium access unlocks 256x, 512x, and 1024x instantly after purchase.
Does this work with shaders?
Yes. We recommend SEUS PTGI HRR 2.1. It also works well with Complementary Unbound, Bliss, and BSL. See Shader Setup for more details.
Is the pack free or paid?
128x is free. Higher resolutions, including 256x, 512x, and 1024x, are paid to support the project's development.
Game is lagging or crashes — what should I try?
Start by using a lower resolution, such as 256x. If the game is stable, try the next higher available resolution. Also try:
- Allocate more RAM to Minecraft
- Lower render distance and shadows
- Use Iris + Sodium or OptiFine performance options

"Resource reload failed" — how do I fix it?
Your system likely ran out of memory while trying to load that pack resolution. Switch to a lower pack resolution or allocate more RAM to Minecraft. If it keeps happening, let us know on Discord.
Can I use the pack in YouTube videos or builds?
Yes. Please give credit for the texture pack and link to the official website for downloads. Do not re-upload the texture pack files or offer them from another source.
The pack looks "flat" — where is the depth and shine?
Enable PBR and POM in your shader settings. See Shader Setup for the exact toggles.
